Gerard Sarnat, MD is a widely traveled physician and very fine poet who follows in the footsteps of William Carlos Willliams and John Keats.  A physician needs to be a sharp observer of the world; Gerry’s richly varied life informs his second collection, Disputes, and enriches us.  Though Sarnat’s in his mid-sixties, he writes young: his unique voice is modern and curves and jumps into the subconscious and widens our perceptions of ourselves. It is good to know that there are poets like Gerry Sarnat exploring the future and anchoring a chaotic universe.
